CLC East London hosted a community dinner at Ketha uBomi House to mark the end of the semester. CLC members, house residents, and ACTS students enjoyed a fun pizza evening.
CLC Katlehong enjoyed a one day retreat on the 12th October. The event was facilitated by Fr Patrick Dladla and ended with a rosary procession. To close off rosary month the group bought 50 rosaries to be blessed by their priest and to distribute along with a guide on how to pray the rosary to Holy Communion and post-communion candidates in their parish.
During October, the Synod for the Amazon has been meeting in Rome. Many important issues have been discussed including environmental justice, women deacons, and married priests.
