Sharing The Word of God

Christian Life Community (CLC) is an international movement of Lay Christians who desire a world rooted in the Gospel values of Jesus Christ, and work to make a visible difference in society. As a community, CLC is an Apostolic Body dedicated to forming all those seeking a close relationship with God, through integrating our experience of Ignatian spirituality with Christian community and Gospel mission in our daily lives.

This integration typifies the charism of CLC – a living sacrament of the present moment- which is rooted in discerning God’s presence in our daily lives and responding to God’s call to each of us

Christian Life Community (CLC) is an international movement of Lay Christians mostly from a Catholic faith, who desire a world rooted in the Gospel values of Jesus Christ, and work to make a visible difference in society.

CLC spirituality is deeply rooted in Ignatian Spirituality, which finds expression in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius and the Jesuit charism to be “a fire that kindles other fires,” and a “united apostolic body seeking what is best for the service of God in the church and for the world” (General Congregation 35 (2008) of the Society of Jesus).

The small group meetings at the heart of CLC, give individuals the opportunity to share with others what is on their hearts, and to experience God’s love. This process is a discerning and supportive one at the center of CLC values where faith is nurtured, hope is anchored and love pervades. CLC envisions itself as a discerning Apostolic Body, believing in the importance of building community and sharing with member communities.
